Elshabasy Scientific Theory of the Mechanism of Noah's Flood:
Did you ever boil a traditional tea in a kettle and the tea spilled over (flooded) the place? This is exactly what happened at the time of Noah's flood, but the kettle was so huge that it included both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans!
By the time you finish reading this article, you will be confident that boiling over the oceans is the main mechanism that caused Noah's flood. Moreover, using the new discovered scientific and geological evidence, we can predict that the time of Noah's flood is coincident with the mysterious geological K-T layer that exists all over the earth and was formed 65.5 million years ago; the same time of the distinction of the dinosaurs.
The flood started by heating the magma to higher temperatures than its average then increasing the pressure of the trapped ground water by boiling it up. The earth crust started to be thinner until finally the high pressure, high temperature ground water started to crack the weakened crust and make hot water springs all over the earth.
The total water of the earth DID NOT increase or decrease at all during the flood, but what happened is the increase of the oceans water level due to the BOILING OVER of the oceans water. This is exactly as the situation when the water boils over in the tea kettle when you mix the tea with water before heating the water to make a cup of tea. Special chemicals/materials from the underground or magma were mixed with the ocean water to cause the ocean water to boil over when the lower water layer that touched the ocean bed started to boil. Pure water does not boils over without being mixed with other materials.
During the flood, a huge amount of water vapor bubbles were mixed with the ocean water causing the water to make bubbles similar to the situation when you sometimes open a highly pressurized water tap and the water is bubbly and mixed with air. At least the volume of the water vapor bubbles were as big as all the ocean water to cause the water volume to be duplicated during the peak of the flood. The density of the water was only 50% of the standard pure water density that is 1000 kg/m3. This reduced water density needed more challenging Noah Ark design to be able to safely float in these huge hurricanes and tremendous sea waves that are as high as mountains.
Currently Mount Everest is the highest mountain and its height is 8.848 km. But may be at the time of Noah flood, 65.5 millions years ago, the highest mountain was only 4 to 6 km.
The tsunami waves associated with such huge earth disturbance are major factors in wiping out life at the top of mountains even the average flood water level did not reach that high. The highest recorded tsunami wave was 524 meter (1720 feet) tall in Lituya Bay, Alaska (http://geology.com/records/biggest-tsunami.shtml). In the Quran Allah say "وهي تجري بهم في موج كالجبال "; "And it sailed with them through waves like mountains" (Surah Hud 11:42). So, the waves at the time of Noah's flood was as high as mountains; that is at least reached 1 km (3281 foot). This means that the average water level at Noah's flood may reach only 3 to 5 km or less and the Tsunami waves wiped out the life , if existed, of the rest of the top mountains.
Due to the tremendous amount of water vapor that was continuously releasing from the oceans to the atmosphere, the skies never stop raining for months because the air was almost saturated with water vapor. The same situation happened to the hot underground water that was continuously cracking the thinned earth crust and releasing from to the earth surface as warm springs. However, the heavy rains from the skies and releasing of the ground water are only effects of Noah flood and they are not the cause to increase the water levels in the oceans.
The flood caused the formation of the geological K-T layer 65.5 millions years ago. This layer exists ALL OVER the earth surface and till now it is a scientific mystery. The depth of this layer is usually few feet at most, but in some places is more than 500 meter thick as in western Cuba that is situated less than 400 km to the south east of the Chicxulub impact crater of the Yucatan peninsula. The Chicxulub impact is dated 65.5 million years ago. The Catastrophic Events Conference gives the structure and all details of this thick layer.

The distinction of dinosaurs occurred during Noah flood because Noah was living in the Middle East and did not know about the dinosaurs that were living at the other side of the Atlantic Ocean (especially North America).
